Visitors to the hotel have the choice of 2 traditional oaked theme bars. The "The Mess Lounge" is cosy and casual with comfortable seating in quiet surroundings.. The main bar is comfortable and inviting with elegant soft furnishings, and soothing background music, ideal while enjoying a glass of wine in front of a warming fire effect stove, perfect for those cold winter nights.
Both bars are open Sunday to Thursday from 10.00am until 11.00pm and Saturday 10.00 am until 1am. Coffees and hot non-alcoholic beverages are available from 9am daily.

The hotel is especially renowned for its Traditional Carvery which is served everyday during lunchtime, 12noon and 2.30pm.
We offer a Welsh afternoon tea or creamed tea in our bar and lounge areas from 2.30pm until 5.00pm, advance bookings are required for this.
